The Benefits Of Import Export Data and Its Significance

  Import and Export Data, does it really matter? Well the answer to this question is both "yes" and "no". Yes, it does matter. But unfortunately it does not appear to be one of the top policy issues confronting either the government or the private sectors. Probably because of the fact that it does not seem to play as high a role in the election campaigns as many other issues do. The reason that I say this is that there has been a lot of debate on the impact of the recent strengthening of the dollar. One argument against increasing the US import export data is that the strength of the US dollar has caused a reduction in the amount of exports that the country receives. The argument for increased exports is that the more money a country saves by engaging in trade (by buying low-priced goods from abroad) then the more money that can be spent on domestic consumption, and so the country can use its saved funds for consumption rather than on imports.
